The moonshadow console, a marriage of primordial Indian handicrafts with a modern-day aesthetic, brings forth a form, symmetrical in stature, the epitome of wabi-sabi. Shah’s meditative drawings are translated to its oakwood marquetry table top with wooden pieces positioned radially in a matte finish. The table top rests upon and is further accentuated by an extension of Shah’s iconic ‘Moonshadow Vase’, scaled up, cast in aluminium with a raw plaster finish exemplifying fine craftsmanship.
