Gravitating towards the geometry of an ellipse, the cosmic egg marries repetition through a stackable, perfectly-grained, hand-carved object in Alabaster detailed with leather cords. Sculptural in form and purposeful to use, the piece has dual functionality, a simple rotation can make these design objects perfect candle holders, illuminating the natural stone from within. The organic soy wax used is naturally scented from lavender and mint essential oils. The contemporary design and handmade processes illustrate the foundational philosophy of the Atelier.
