Shah’s ‘Kantlo Console,’ inspired by Anish Kapoor’s ‘Taratantara’ finds a new
avatar in this running length of terracotta and cast aluminium. Besides an
obvious play of material and scale, the objects can be alternatvely purposed
to stand as perch stools and tables, placed one over the other as convex and
concave curvatures, celebratng dynamism.
