Characterized by its off-white lacquered beads that wrap themselves around its curvilinear Corian base, the Channapatna basin is a modern rendition of the traditional toy craft reinvented in teak wood, suitable for a bathroom. The island basin with its soft silhouettes retains the essence of the craft, using the same technique and presenting it in a new light. Encompassing two basins with a corian top and three stools that can be repurposed as baskets with openable lids, this sculptural cluster exudes a sense of luxury through its off-white hues, organic forms and hand-made textures.
